....and although i'm really happy just for the fact that someone
finally made this great series available, i still can't help but be a
bit disappointed. the commentary by don is enlightening--and mark
mckinney, one of the two kith rex reileys, phones in for one of
them--but just two episodes with commentary? and on the second, over
episode three, don sounds as if there are to be at least a few more
episodes with commentary, but there ain't. so two eps with chat, a
photo gallery and three actor bios make up the extras on this long
awaited two-dvd set. and as grateful as i am, my jaded ass still can't
help but be a bit disappointed with a set that could have been so much
more. but from the looks of video service corp's website, it seem as
though much of their revenue comes from putting out the canadian
equivalent of 'girls gone wild so' i reckon i shouldn't have had my
hopes too much higher than the attic of a kensington market apartment
building...
still, for any kith fans unfamiliar with the series who occasionally
drop by this seemingly moribund newsgroup, GET THIS SET. Despite my
kvetching about the DVD issue, the show itself is brilliant, and
easily worth the twenty bucks you were gonna spend on dinner. instead,
stay in and watch this show like you know curtis would.
