Anyone in the UK Got a 3rd Gen Firebird Tailgate for sale.?
Hopefully not to far away from Sheffield. Ans is able to deliver for a
reasonable Price.
Only Mine exploded on Friday Night, when I was Buffing the Front Wing,
after
another respray last weekend.
I had to much stuff in the boot and it was pressing on the glass, that and
the Vibrations from the Buffer, Must have been just to much.
Ive had 2 quotes so far, all around £200 but so far nobody can deliver.
Steve from Oldcott Motors said he would phone me back with a price and Ive
not hurd from him since. Guess he didnt want to travel.!
One Guy in Sheffield has put my name on one, but I cant get to it, as my
car
aint large enough to fit it in. That and the fact its got the wrong
spoiler.
He thinks its bonded on. Its an 88 Type that wraps around the bottom of
the
glass.
Has anyone managed to ever remove one of those without busting the glass.?
Its a lot of money to spend on a thing that may get busted due to having
to
remove a part.
Steves sounded like the right sort, but unless he can deliver it, its out
of
reach.
Anyone with one to offer for the same price Plus a small extra fee for
delivery please get in touch.
Doesnt matter what colour, but id prefer it to only have the 4 holes for
the
spoiler, 2 at each side, without the center break light.
Prefer the Knight rider type, but I dont need the spoiler as Ive already
got
it.
May consider just the glass with the heated rear screen elements, as Id be
able to use my existing board and spoiler fittings.
