Whos to say that the movie doesnt start of in the 80`s.?
They could start it of when KITT and Michael were still active partners,
then skip to the present.
Michael could still have KITT in his personal collection somewere safe
just
waiting to kick ass on fallback.
Or even in a personal Musem on Display as a tribute to what started the
FLAG.
These new kids could do there bit, then get into deep sh*te and the only
one
left to do the job would be kitt back from Storage.
That kind of plot has been done may times before and has worked well.
Plus that would introduce some new faces and gadgets to the plot as well
as
keeping the original fans happy.
Just dont think that a vampet up plastic molded peace of ****e modern car
will do the trick. The Trans-am styling was almost Perfect.
To be honest I think that KITT and the nose is 110% a better design than
any
of the Original Trans-ams styling produced in stock.
Most of the modern cars made today are based on the same floor pan
designes
anyhow, and All are pants.
Dukes of Hazard car is what makes Dukes of Hazard and the movie.
Same goes for Starskey and Hutch.
Knight Rider has to have KITT and the HOFF. Simple.
The HOFF can start of as KITTS Partner, then move on to being the Head of
the FLAG. New Blood New Faces New IDEAs.
Regards
Wombat.
