Its been done before, Forest Gump.

K2000 Was NOTHING at all like what I described. But I would agree that it
was ****e.
Apart from the theme tune, which I realy liked.
I didnt like the fact that they killed devon off either.

20 years ! 30yrs would take you to the smokey and the bandet type.
:-)

Thats a **** car anyhow. Ya its fast. but stick a V12 in any bit of
plastic
and you`d get the same results.
Lets all drive around in a Hover with a big engine.

Near Future? What rubish. Knight Rider was not set in the future. Only the
****e K2000 was.
Knight Rider the Series was set in the Present day. But as Far as I can
see
no car has come close to the KITT of old.
Infact most cars of today have only just cought it up.
To say my Trans-am is 25+ Years onld and has been ****pped from the states
through all the sea salt, and god knows what.
This car is in mint condition. Its even got a galvonised Steel shasi. Air
con, Electric windows, Central Locking, Power Steering.
Central Consol with Glove Box. and All the other bits of Kit that you take
for granted in all the modern day cars.
No wonder KITT was made from such a car. It was Way infront of the rest.
Cars of the 80's were so boxy and basic.
To be honest Id be pritty disapointed to not see those Boxy cars in the
states. Its what makes USA USA.
Every great car chase had the lumbering Box Cars. Not like todays plastic
****e that folks use now.
There has been NO better car chases that the 70-80`s. most modern ones try
to be to flashy with the camera angles.
Eventhe matrix didnt get it right. You can see the role cages and firing
canisters in most of the cars that flip.
Thats why I like Knight Rider. You see it realy jump. and if your lucky
you
get a snipit of it sma****ng ..

> way* that KITT will be a 1982 Trans Am.
Never say Never.
