I don't know of any product that does what you want, but as a person who
has
had several of his vehicles tinted, I can say it actually isn't really all
that bad. Depending on what level of tint you get (darker or lighter), you
can usually see out quite fine. On my current car, I have 5% tint on all
of
the rear windows (5% Tint means that only 5% of light can get through the
tint. It's almost as dark as Limo tint), and though it does get difficult
to
see out of them at night time, you do get used to it. I wouldn't recommend
going down to 5% though. I would stick with maybe 35%, as it should give
the
cool tint look, and let you see out very well.
Thanks for the link too. I actually have a DVD with that footage on it.
They
float around E-Bay every now and then, so I grabbed one. The quality is
mostly terrible, but there are some interesting moments, and like you saw,
some complete turbo boosts. It's actually fun to see that out of all the
cars they jumped in those clips, most weren't even whole Trans Am's.
Several
were just metal frames, with Trans Am bodies, some were fake, and some had
a
plastic shell instead of a metal body.
Anyhow, if you do decide to go with regular window tint, give me a shout
and
I can send some pictures if you would like of a few of my tint jobs. A
couple of my other cars had much lighter tint then my current one, so you
may be able to judge if you will like it or not.
Till next time.....
