I mean no offence, but I don't understand what you mean here. If you are
saying the Trans Am's were cheap cars, then that is not correct. The Trans
Am's are sports cars, and are very expensive from new. In fact, there are
still Trans Am's for sale locally to me (Ontario, Canada) going for over
$40,000 (Canadian). Sure, the Trans Am's weren't nearly as expensive as a
Ferrari, or similar, but they were very high priced cars from new.

I think I remember hearing on the Knight Rider DVD, that Glen Larson said
that he had seen the new Trans Am, and liked it, so he used it for his
KITT
on the show. I think another reason was because it was a totally new
version
of Trans Am, so very few people owned one at the time Knight Rider
premiered.

I would have to see what the new Trans Am's look like first, but from the
'concept' pictures I have seen, its a damn fine looking car. However,
those
'concept' pictures aren't from GM, so who knows what the new Trans Am will
look like, or even if it will ever be made.

I honestly wouldn't. I would accept it quite eaisly. I still see all
kind's
of Trans Am's of Knight Rider's generation (1982-1986) on the road. It's
not
an obselete car. But, I can see how others would be ticked off.
