comprises!! What characters, actors, technologies, situations,
scenarios, fashions, cars etc... have to be the same for *you* to
consider it close enough? You seem very sure at pointing out what they
shouldn't do, but get very vague about specifying what they *should*
do. Please provide a list.

What comprises a "silly" change? And please explain how it didn't need
to be made or why it is "silly" to make that change. Perhaps give an
example of a "silly" change which was made in a previous film
adaptation.

Knight Rider as we know and like it was set in the 80s, reflects 80s
thinking, has actors and characters from the 80s, fashions and
technologies from the 80s and also has 80s style, 80s issues and 80s
criminology etc.. etc..
Knight Rider set in 2006 will simply reflect all the above, but from
the present day instead of the 80s.
Just think of it as what would happen if they simply started making
Knight Rider the series today instead of in the 80s.

Sure, but can't you see that you've *totally* assumed the latter,
based on nothing more than your own interpretations of the track
recorded of prior series-to-films, most of which have actually been
very good and very popular (and in many cases spawned sequels).

LOL! What.. again? It seems that just as I predicted, when you last
claimed to be putting me in your killfile, you didn't. I doubt you
will again and I also doubt that you put "80 Knight" in either.
Quite a lot of judicious snipping there though. I'll try and state the
questions that you keep avoiding again. Hopefully you'll be man enough
to actually answer them this time:
1. Since you stated that "most of the time it bombs badly", when a
film is made of an existing series, I'd like you to give me a list of
these "bombs". Maybe just two or three examples?
2. Can you *finally* state what characters, actors, cars,
technologies, scenarios, politics etc.. they should stick to when
making a new film for you to consider it 'correct' and to still
"resemble the show [you] liked". Presumably you think that KITT should
still be a Trans Am, but what else?
3. Can you finally give your opinion on the changes made for season 4
(SPM, RC3), and whether you had a similar problem with these updates
or whether you have accepted them.
