I have to admit, I was born in 1980, so by the time KITT first transformed
into Super Pursuit Mode, I was only 5 or so, but I love it at the time.
Here was this awesome looking car, that transformed into a beast and could
go 300 MPH. I didn't know how fast that was at the time, but it sure
sounded quick. When I watch Knight Rider now, I defiantly think the
series
could have done well without the SPM transformation. Sure, make KITT
still
be able to do 300 MPH, but without the cheesy looking fins. But, I will
also admit the one (2?) episode(s) where KITT went into SPM at night time
and all the fenders and fins were lit in red, did look awesome.
