Actually, Ron Moore is the guy behind the Battlestar Galactica remake.
Glen
Larson is only a "consultant". How much Larson had to do with the new
BSG,
no one really knows. As for the new BSG and the old one, there are quite
a
few similarities. Too many (in my opinion) to have named the show
anything
else (the original fans would have bitched and cried that the original was
copied). As for Knight Rider, I hope both are produced. Regardless of
what
the story is, I will likely watch them both, and then decide if either are
any good. It's like the "Terminator" franchise. James Cameron wrote,
produced, and directed the first 2 movies. Then, someone else came in and
wrote and directed the 3rd, and someone else came in and has created a
series. I have seen all 3 movies, as well as the Pilot for the series,
and
even though in my opinion, only the first 2 movies are truly "Terminator",
the 3rd movie and the series are still good on there own.
