I respectively disagree on the part about the excuse being solid. I think
we need to know the answers to your questions, and a lot more before we
can
safely make an assumption like that. I am hoping that if this movie
becomes
a series, they will indeed answer all of our questions, but I think that
would depend a lot on the Hoff. Sure, he isn't really up too much these
days, but would he want to have a reoccurring role, or even maybe a
2-parter
"tie up all the loose ends" kind of episode? IMHO, the entire story of
what
Michael and KITT have been doing for the last 20 years could fill an
entire
season...'Cause if the writers try and pull some "KITT has been stuck in
that guy's garage all this time, because he broke" (for those who haven't
seen the movie, at the beginning when we first see the "Mustang KITT", we
see several parts from the old KITT, laying around) BS, I'll be damned
mad.
