Hi Vi -
Welcome to the wild, weird, wonderful world of LFN. The show is truly
addictive. I've been hooked since the second commercial break of the
very first airing of the very first ep. back in '97, and I still can't
get enough of watching it - my S1 DVDs and self-made tapes as I can't
get Oxygen. Even though I know each ep. almost by heart, I find
something new/different with each viewing. Unlike most TV drek, for me
LFN has so many layers and subtleties, that knowing the story, action,
and dialogue is an aid in seeing past the obvious to catch for the first
time a look or a nuance which I'd missed all of those times before. I'm
saying, don't feel unusual or odd because you rewatch repeats. Again,
speaking for myself, it just keeps getting better.
As to the hope for future eps./movies, at this point there is only
~hope~; in the future, anything is possible. As Natalie mentioned in
her response, with three of the original characters gone, it might lack
something as LFN. As to a 'Michael Loves Nikita' story, while
different, that may have more of a chance; then again, that wouldn't be
true to LFN. A true Catch 22, if ever there was one. With the
expression 'everything old becomes new again', one can only wait and
see.
As you may have noticed, this ng is a 'bit slow'; why don't you check
out alt.fan.la-femme.nikita. It's usually the more active LFN
newsgroup, (although it's also a bit slow at the moment). Whether here
or there, hope to see you around.
