How often do people include personal information in a USENET post? This is
almost never done, for the obvious reasons. One would imagine that even
the
most naive poster would avoid doing this when presenting a controversial
position. And yet the OP ends with Tom St.Denis's address, home phone
number, and cell phone number! While it would hard to imagine Tom freely
dispensing this information, one could easily imagine one of his enemies
doing so.
If Tom is guilty, then he certainly deserves our censure. But we should
not
condemn him unless his guilt is proved beyond a reasonable doubt.
