The credits said Jesse McCartney was in it. I recognized the name; he
used to be on "Summerland" but I wasn't sure which character he was.
Btw another actor - I forget his name - who was in "Summerland" is now
on the HBO vampire series "True Blood".
And Zac Efron from that same show has become famous from the "High
School Musical" movies!
So the boy who strangled got 4 years and the one who slashed and burned
got 15 to life. The former won't have to worry about staying a virgin
while in prison.
I wonder what the mother got for attacking the ADA?
There was a girl early on who said that some homeless guy killed her
father with a brick. Wasn't that in some episode? I seem to remember
some guy with a brick.
I remember one of the judges playing an attorney. He was one of the ADA
mentors.
Nice ending with the guy wanting to take care of his grandhild's mother.
But I'd think he'd have to go through some process (foster care
license?) in order to take the girl in.
