The opening scene for example, taxi screams up to the DP bld., the fellow
runs out and into the empty early morning office, is on my tape of the
British version of the pilot.
The original American broadcast was cut a tad to make room for some summer
special short crap. There's a scene with the crippled daughter of Sam
Platt
that was omitted, the story made more sense with it in.
