Yep; that's pretty much why I watched it once via ABC Family's reruns,
but have no plans to watch it a second time.  I can't stand watching a
bunch of smaltzy soap-operish (read unbelievable) characters acting
like they are driven by their hormones, and not their brains.  C'mon.
It's not that complicated.  She likes you; you like her; you either
date for 2 years & then get married.

-Or- If it doesn't work out, you break up, and you never speak to one
another again other than "hi" "bye" and "excuse me, you're in my way;
please move".  -----  Just like the real world.  Why make it so
complicated / soap-operish / unbelievable?  Lana/clark didn't work out
because they don't get along, therefore they should just forget about
each other, and go find a new partner.
