You see?  That's what I mean.  Lana & Clark dated; they didn't work;
they broke up.  But since this is a SOAP OPERA, Lana and clark just
keep pining after one another.  That's why I hate soaps; so
unrealistic.

In a Real World romance (realistic): Clark would have long since moved
on to another girl, perhaps Chloe or some cheerleader type.  He'd be
going, "Lana?  Who's that?  Oh yeah we dated but it didn't work out.
(shrug)  Hey who's that cute babe over there?"  And Lana would be
dating the Captain of the swimming team; or maybe the rich boy who
drives the ferrari.  That's realism.  Not soap.

My local station shows two episodes every weekend (back-to-back), and I
DO watch them, but after about 10 minutes I usually flip on the
computer and start watching the latest download instead.

Smallville is eminently NOT rewatchable.  Watch once and forget about
it.  Like N'sync.
