At the end of the season, in order to stop Zex [Zod/Lex] he had to do 
something Chloe thought was going to cost him his life.  She said the 
cliche, "I may never see you again" and planted one on Clark's face,
tongue 
ad all was my thought ... waiting for the re-reun.
