I do agree with you on that. Early in the show, at least Chloe had some
life outside of Clark. Now all she does is wait in the daily planet for
Clark to come in and talk to her. Oh yeah, she follows him around like
a puppy when he needs someone to hack into Luthercorp.

There's been a few times Chloe stood up to Clark (like when he asked
her to spy on Lana), but for the most part, Chloe mindlessly does
whatever Clark wants, in hopes of getting affection from him someday.
