Hey folks,
Okay, like the loyal fan I am, I purchased the Complete Season 1 DVD set.
I'm happy, very few 'extras' but a decent package for the hard core LIS
fan.
Now, I've been off this board a while, so let me challenge - what's up
with
the Season II set(s).
I haven't researched this as much as I'd like before posing this question,
but we need a little action around here anyway right? So, why was Season
II
released in two parts? If I buy both - they work out financially to the
price of the complete season 1 - so am I missing anything? Or, heaven
forbid, do I get some 'extras' on on or the other discs?
I appreciate the cost it takes to make a 'Special Edition' / bonus laden
/
HDTV to Standard-Def DVD package, and LIS didn't do it the first time.
Most
TV on DVD are simply the 'uncut' and 're-mastered' straight television
shows. (I put 'uncut and re-mastered' in quotes, as they seldom are...but
usually they look pretty good.) They could take a cue from the film
industry
and provide commentaries, behind the scenes, etc. But, that gets expensive
and I understand that. However....
If I buy both Season 2 sets...will I get *all* of season 2? Anyone know?
Please, stop me from buying these if a full box of season II is on the
way!
Thanks for reading my post.
