Wow - 3+ years after this pilot failed , cool to see people still
talking about it ! Cool to see my site referenced too.
I have a copy of the first draft of Petrie's script for this pilot -
and though I have only skimmed over it , the biggest character
difference I noticed (besides Penny being an infant) was that West was
kinda a wuss (though he got that tag by some fans during the
"original" series for always having rocks fall on him etc...lol) but
in the Petrie script David Robinson could kick West's a$$. You do not
see/get this impression in the pilot's final production.
I don't have the script at hand to review - I stored it away in a
filing cabinet at work.
I do not have any plans to post it on my website either.... sorry. :-\
Those are answers to two questions I anticipate would be asked in
response to this posting. ;)
