So we are back to a conspiracy/cover-up as mentioned by Cuse and Lindelof,
 
when they referred to a 'Capricorn One' type scenario.

Capricorn One (CO) has a line in it that would be laughable if the  
implications were not so serious for the characters.

I have watched CO recently, and wonder how far to push that storyline in  
relation to the Lost parallels (?)

Looking ahead...who would be capable of constructing this type of  
scenario? How deep or how high-up would a conspiracy of this nature have  
to go, to play out?

In CO, the presidency is slightly implicated, by political/ budget  
pressures....
