Well, it seems more likely than Locke dragging him halfway across
Craphole by himself with a hood on his head :-)  Once Cooper declared
that he thought himself in hell, he probably didn't really care a lot
about the surroundings, though he certainly would've noticed them.

If he'd have explained the entire situation to Sawyer (from his
viewpoint), it would've taken a bit too long IMO.

RWG (not that he cared a whole lot about what Sawyer would think,
seems to me)
