The season teasers and commercials (e.g., the ones online at ABC) led me to
believe that Faraday was the "sinister" one and Miles was going to be more
sympathetic to the Losties. But as it turned out, Faraday is kind of a
goofy non-threatening dork (albeit one with a gun) and Miles is the
belligerent hothead.
It's funny how a little editing can steer things.
