"Miles Straume's" Purpose

I don't have any real evidence to back it up, but I've got a hunch
that "Miles Straume" is not the name he was born with.

Of the four, he's the only one who doesn't seem to have an obvious
purpose for being there.

Then I remembed one of Radzinsky's quotes from the infamous blast door
map, something to the effect of:

"The final resting place of Magnus Hanso?"

Could it be that Alvar Hanso (or someone else) needs info from the
dead guy? Or maybe that "Jacob" is Hanso's ghost and needs to be "put
to rest" as it were?
