Polar Bear skeleton - CE3k?

Any one else notice the parallels between the scene of the polar bear's 
remains being found in the desert to a similar sequence with Francois 
Truffaut in Close Encounters of the Third Kind? The blowing sand, the 
music, the fast-paced translations, the discovery of a total 
impossibility in the desert?
