The Captain who was supposed to be behind the yolk.

..I'm kind of wondering about the helicopter pilot.. Can't think of his
name right now, but the guy who was supposed to be the one flying flight
815.      

Would such a guy actually be the Captain of a jet, the size of an
L10-11? 
....Man, he looks more like=A0a hairy-assed bush pilot.

Even Naomi referred to him as "a drunk", when she was talking to
creepola.  

He almost fits into the same category as Jack, ambling into the hospital
drunk and oxycodoned, and wanting to do an operation.   ...It's like,
sure, I'd love to have him pilot a jet with myself and a few hundred
others on board.   
...I wonder if he was going through some traumatic withdrawals, as Dan
had earlier demonstrated.   ...Even though we see him, prior to actually
going to the island.  IE: another case of the Desmond syndrome.
