I disagree, I'm not from the school of thought that every snippet is a 
significant clue.  I think sometimes writers throw in random things just
for 
the Wow! factor and because they know it will launch countless esoteric 
theories with fans.

This particular scene was included as a "Welcome to Lost Island, Frank; If

you think a cow is bizarre you ain't seen nothing yet!"  Clearly, Frank
was 
shaken from the landing and wondered if he was hallucinating as a result
of 
a concussion or extended hangover.

In this case, I think the simplest explanation is the likeliest: Patchy's 
livestock are no longer corralled and are wondering the Island.  You
noticed 
that Jack and Kate didn't even bother to comment since it was relatively 
harmless compared to seeing dead people, Smoke Monsters and Polar Bears.

I supposed if Nadia the cat shows up there will be posts claiming its a
sign 
that ancient Egyptian deities are at work.

PS  All the pre-detonated pile of fruit in 4:01 means is that it wasn't
safe 
for the Hurley mobile to hit a large stack of Papayas at a high rate of 
speed, even with a stuntman at the wheel.  The studio is still is

purposely scattered and fragmented a split second before the collision it 
was done as an assurance that the driver could retain control of the car 
whereas there would be no guaranties if the car really made full contact
