Yeah, and Karl isn't all that bright. Ben didn't have to think too
hard to come up with something to distract him.

And I wouldn't be so sure that even with a gun to his head that Ben is
giving a straight answer. He has a way of leaving out a few choice
bits of crucial information. He told Sawyer and Locke just enough to
keep them from killing him right then, and ****ft focus to why
Charlotte was there, but not a lot more.
