I personally feel that this has now become a front-runner in terms of
theory about the show.
It explains the polar bear in Tunisia. It also explains Jack taking
random flights to Sydney and Japan at the end of Season 3.
You see him with maps all over his apartment in that episode with
comp***** and rulers with maps.
