It looks to me like the first sentence might be, "Lassen XX uns ihnen
dabei helfen", where I can't even make a guess what the XX is. The
rest of the sentence translates to something like "Allow us to help
them by it". That would not be the correct form of the german
imperative if that's what it says. The XX would have to be "Sie", and
the first word is clearly not capitalized, or it would be "wir", in
which case the translation would be more like "Let us allow us to help
them by it", which seems redundant.
Assuming the words are correct I might not have translated the
prepositional phrase correctly. It could also mean "with it", or
"thereby".
The second sentence is probably an appeal for donations.
