That's perfectly understandable. The names were in the credits of all
the early episodes, but I think the characters themselves only showed
up in two or three before the one where they were offed. They were
supposed to be in more, but their scenes were cut. If you have the
Season Three DVD set, there are at least three deleted scenes,
including one which was supposed to be their initial appearance.
