The dog in the poster looks like the same one in the cage.  I assume
the poster was created specifically for the show, so this makes sense.

If the translation of "Allow us to help them" is correct, consider
this:

Jacob (whose cabin has a dog painting) says, "Help me" to Locke.
Charlie inisists to Hurley that "They need you."
