Does this mean that Vincent is like their ambassador / emissary?  He's
shown 
exceptional abilities so far, pointing out a known gravesite and communing

with the Dead.  Plus, he has excellent survival instincts; he is never in 
any scenes where Losties are running for their lives! :)
