IIRC Frank's exact promise for Charlotte's safe return was to take Sayid
off 
the Island and it was interpreted by Sayid to mean trans****t to the 
Freighter.  It would be ironic if Sayid and Desmond ended up on Alcatraz
or 
"ditched" in the ocean.  Perhaps you're right and they end up on Rezkew 
Island where they find a boat out of fuel and castaway Michael. :)
