No. You're so hung up on this time-line nonsense you're messing yourself
up.

We see Sayid kill the man at the golf course simply because the writers
want 
us to think, "That bastard! Sayid turned out to be a cold-blooded killer 
once he made it back to civilization."

Then we learn at the end, when Ben operates on Sayid, that Sayid is not
the 
cold-blooded killer we first thought he had turned out to be.
