I disagree.    I think, as someone else pointed out... The two key guys
are Ben and Locke.  Ben, in contrast has access to the earlier time
period.  ...What we are watching is "before" the infiltrating group knew
who Ben was. ..And, of course, they are (via Elsa in Berlin) trying to
find out Ben's name..  That's why I think Locke may be part of them...
However, he's unable to retain memories on coming to the island.   But
it seems he's got an agenda for being there.  ..On the island, neither
Ben nor Locke are aware that each one is the one the other is after.
