Someone said in a thread a little while ago,
that Charlie's vision must have had some sort
of independent reality, because another inmate
had seen/talked to him (Charlie), and told Hugo
he was coming to talk to him (H).
But was this really so?
The other inmate was all huddled up and obscured.
I got the distinct impression it was also non-real.
Just part of Charlie's apparition. I'm pretty sure
that when Hugo was in the looney-bin the first
time, similar things happened. i.e. a non-real
messenger telling H that another person was
on the way.
Can anyone recall about this matter?
