I brought this up a year or so ago and was put down. It it did seam so
at the time but also now the segments are shorter.  When the frist
episode aired the opening scene was so long as compared to most shows
at the time (15 miniutes or so) that it flowed more like a movie than
a tv show.  Also the show ran over in its time slot by a minute or two
which caused a lot of people problems who were recording it for later
viewing as the end was alway cut off, so the were coming here to find
out what happened at the end. This made the show seem like it ran
longer. But it did run 42-44 minutes.
