Or, she could be crying because Jin is still on the island and she
misses him. Clearly the O6 aren't able to get back to the island. And
there have been strong hints that they know the others are still
stranded.
So why wouldn't Sun cry for Jin, knowing that he hasn't seen his baby
girl and could be trapped on Lost island forever? I agree that the way
she and Hurley acted seemed like genuine mourning for a genuinely dead
Jin, but until we see his death, it's not 100% certain.
