I don't know why they made Sun only 24 in 2004. If she was born on
March 20, 1980, then she was 20 when she married Jin. Yet Mrs. Paik
says: "If you'd found a husband in college we wouldn't need a
matchmaker" and "...after 4 years of college, you're silver. Don't you
want to find a husband before you turn bronze?" We also saw a photo
of Sun in cap and gown in one of the episodes.
I could buy an early high school graduation, but it's a little extreme
in this day and age to worry about spinsterhood for a 20-year-old.
