So, there was VERY LITTLE drama about Sun giving birth.
This is pretty big, since she was gonna die on the island. And pretty
much nothing was said about it in the episode.
Now, to assume that she was fine simply because she was off the island
is the easy answer. And, it is indeed, the answer I subscribe to.
But shouldn't this question get a little more attention? If you get
pregnant on the island and then leave it, your fine? Yeah, makes sense
to me, but I think discussion of the topic is worthwhile.
My current drunken theory is that the island does have healing
properties and that those healing properties do not differentiate
between something like cancer and a fetus. Why the mother dies, I
cannot explain.
