Oceanic 815F (for fake) is at the bottom of a deep trench in the south
Pacific.
Video was taken showing bodies in the near intact plane. I say near
intact because the plane is broken into what appears to be 3 or 4 major
sections. Surpisingly, the sections appear to be divided up almost like
the sections that crashed on the island.
The flight data recorder was recovered.
Now, the theory:
There is no aircraft at the bottom of the trench. 324 bodies were not
taken to the south Pacific and dumped. The only great feat was the
faking of the FDR and the video of the aircraft.
If the aircraft is "found" so deep that recovery efforts would be too
expensive, the FAA, NTSB, and other government agencies will simply
accept the video as provided.
In fact, given the ability to test DNA, if a recovery had actually been
made, intact bodies would have immediately shown the hoax. And, a DNA
test would have definitely been performed because the bodies would have
been so unrecognizable that DNA identification would have been required
to make sure relatives received the right remains.
So, the aircraft had to be found in a trench that would have required
massive expenses and risks to the point where no government would
attempt a physical recovery.
But, to satisfy most curiousity, the FDR is "recovered" and the FAA and
NTSB use that to find out what went wrong.
Also, the FDR shown by the Captain didn't have to be the FDR recovered.
