I'm not sure at all about what the Captain said regarding Widmore. I think

this has something to do with the note passed under the door that said 
"Don't Trust the Captain". I think the surprise the writers are planning
is 
that the truth about who faked the plane crash is that it's not fake. In 
what way can the wedding ring be considered conclusive proof that the
crash 
was faked?
