I completely agree that Jack's statement, as well as Kate the accused
murderer's custody of Aaron, are both problematic if Aaron is the last
of the O6.  However, based on the fact that the producers said we
would know the full O6 by the end of episode 7, and the fans'
arguments about his status after "Eggtown," it seems like Aaron is the
most likely candidate.

If so, it's disingenuous for the producers to say that the identity of
the other two doesn't matter.  I suspect those two were thrown into
the mix only because there had to be at least *one* other crash
survivor (Claire) if Aaron was to be O6, and creating yet another
survivor obscured the pregnancy issue.  This allowed for Jack's
intentionally misleading (to the audience) statement and the surprise
at the end of "Eggtown."
