The second scenario suggests that it is one part of a fractured set of
flashbacks. In this scenario, the episode doesn’t belong to Sayid or
Ben
exclusively, but shows one angle of an event that impacts several
characters. This would make more sense for plenty of reasons. First,
Damon and Carlton admitted they would be cramming stories together to make
up for the three episodes they will not be able to film. Next, it
wouldn’t make sense for a second Sayid flashback exclusively.
The ninth episode will premiere on April 24.
