I think any normal adult could just watch the tv show and be happy
about it. It's pretty entertaining all by itself. There's no need for
any of the auxiliary stuff.
When the show started, I was all over it, trying to get friends to
watch, checking newsgroups, the internet and the podcasts. I even went
to the websites (Oceanic, DHARMA, Widmore, etc) and looked for clues
and stuff. I even started that LOST internet interactive stuff for a
couple of days...
But now, I have other interests. I still watch the show with friends,
I go to this LOST Google Group and make comments, I watch and/or
listen to podcasts, but I read only the producer's questions message
board on the ABC LOST website. I don't buy the magazines. I don't play
the videogames, I rarely go to the spoiler sites as much as I used to.
My interest is waning. I guess I have only a five season series run in
me.... and LOST is to run SIX seasons! I guess I can make it....
