Seriously?  You don't see the implicit "if" in that sentence?  I
meant, "if, as the O.P. says, the smoke monster can take human form,
why wouldn't it take a form that Locke would recognize?"  I.E., I am
saying it isn't the smoke monster doing it.

Whether the smoke monster can actually take human form is immaterial
to the point I was making since I was only countering the original
claim, not arguing for it myself.  In other words I was arguing the
same thing as you (that Walt was projecting) but you would rather
parse my statement incorrectly in order to make a dumbass sarcastic
comment, than acknowledge that I am agreeing with you.
