As you did, Thin, I saw Vantage Point at the movies and was very 
disappointed.  As someone else said, I looked forward to it because of
what 
some my consider an all-star cast.  Was most disappointed in the Forrest 
Whitaker character.  He's a great actor but this was a total waste.  The 
whole bit at the end with the phone call to the wife and son, "Daddy's 
coming home".  Please who cares!

Have recently discovered The Wire.  Just watched Season 1.  How did I miss

the boat on this one?  I think its a stubborness thing.  I had heard after

the first season or 2 how good it was, but it gets to a point where you
say, 
Oh well, I missed it.
