We all know that Michael Emerson and his character was only to be on
for a few episodes but he was so well received that the writers
changed the entire structure of the Others to fit Ben in as the
leader. The best decision they've made IMO. Emerson has really made
the series take a giant leap forward.
Does anyone know (besides L&C) ... or even have an opinion as to who
was supposed to be the original leader of the Others and how that
person was supposed to interact with the different ongoing plot
lines ??
