I guess we all - or many of us - assumed that Henry Gale was a person
who accidentally ended up on the Island, and that he got killed when
the balloon crashed. But what if there is a different story? Do we
*really* know who Henry Gale was, and do we *really* know why he
came to the Island?
I'm throwing out a new theory here. Remember how Ben ended
up in Danielle's trap? Was that just a coincidence, or was it part of
a bigger plan? I am starting to believe it was part of Ben's plan from
the beginning.
The big question is: How did Ben find out about Widmore's boat? Did
Henry Gale tell him? We know that Widmore has been looking for the
Island, but he doesn't know where it is. Did he send Henry Gale out on
a trip in order to try to locate the Island? Did Widmore track the
balloon by using GPS? Is that how he got an approximate location of
the Island?
Did Ben understand who Henry Gale was, and who had sent him?
Did Henry Gale tell Ben who he was and why he was there, or did Ben
torture him to get that information? Did Ben kill Henry Gale after he
got the information he wanted? Is that how Ben got to know what was
coming, and is that why he sent Michael back?
